You're invited to visit the studios of the talented craftsmen and artists of the Cumberland Vally during this annual event. This admission-free self guided tour of the scenic Cumberland Valley of South Central Pennsylvania includes seven studios and two galleries at which you will find members of the CVCG and guest artists exhibiting and demonstrating in a variety of media.

Along the tour route you will also find good places to eat, museums, antique shops, and landmarks both scenic and historic. Ask at each site for suggestions. Coming from a distance? Consider staying at a B & B to make a weekend of your visit.

*Fine Artist Eliane Ambrose is a participating artist not included in the brochure. She will be located at D'bec Studio in Mont Alto.
About our organization. . .
The Cumberland Valley Craftsmen and its parent organization, the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen, were organized to promote quality crafts in Pennsylvania. Since 1973 the members of the CVC have been dedicated to improving the quality of crafts taught, produced, and sold in the Cumberland Valley and throughout Pennsylvania. We are an organization of dedicated, skilled craftspeople working in a variety of media. We encourage creativity in design and use of materials and uphold standards of excellence in design and technique. Participating members are chosen by a jurying process and must meet specified standards of excellence in technique, design, originality, and style. We sponsor several annual events during which we invite you to meet our members, see us at work, learn about our unique and beautiful craft work and perhaps purchase something handcrafted to take home with you. These events include the Studio Tour, held in early May at various studios throughout the Cumberland Valley, and a Holiday Open House tour. We also participate in the annual Chamberfest held in July in downtown Chambersburg, PA. Other events are scheduled throughout the year. These events present fine handcrafted products by craftsmen from the Cumberland Valley and throughout Pennsylvania and the surrounding region.
